Welcome — I’m Katrina.

the photographer behind

Katrina Brothers Photography

Based in York, Maine, I serve families across New England and beyond…

Photography, for me, has always been about more than how something looks. It is about preserving how a season of life felt... the quiet in-between moments, the natural expressions, and the connection that unfolds when people feel at ease.

Being a mother has changed the way I see everything... especially how fleeting the ordinary days truly are.

As a York, Maine photographer, I have the privilege of documenting families throughout New England and beyond. My approach is guided and intentionally relaxed. I provide direction when it serves the moment, while allowing space for genuine interaction and candid connection. The result is imagery that feels authentic, refined, and true to you.

I photograph families, children, maternity, seniors, engagements, and intimate wedding celebrations...approaching each session with care and intention. Whether outdoors in natural light or in a studio setting, every experience is designed to feel comfortable, unhurried, and meaningful.

Each image is edited by hand to ensure consistency, warmth, and a finished collection created with longevity in mind. My work is meant to live beyond a screen: becoming artwork for your home and photographs your family will treasure for years to come.

If you are looking for a photographer who balances professional guidance with genuine connection and deep investment in both the experience and final result, I would be honored to work with you.

I am so glad you are here.

My philosophy

A THOUGHTFUL APPROACH

TO PHOTOGRAPHING PEOPLE AND THEIR STORIES

I believe meaningful photographs begin with trust, patience, and connection.

Every session is guided with intention while allowing space for natural moments to unfold. Rather than forcing poses or rushing through an experience, I focus on creating a comfortable environment where people can simply be themselves.

My work is rooted in storytelling and attention to detail. From quiet in between moments to confident expressions, I approach each session with care and purpose. The goal is always the same to create images that feel honest, timeless, and reflective of this season of life.

Photography is more than documenting how something looked.

It is about preserving how it felt.
